Me Me Me

Listen to understand what people tell you, instead of preparing for your next line!

What is your main objective when you build relations?

Your needs? – Their needs?
Your happiness? – Their happiness?

“If you’re happy, I’m happy”. What does that really mean to you?

How quickly do you stop listening when others talk about themselves?

5 minutes, 2 minutes or 30 seconds?

If so, change your behaviour. If you want to succeed in building relations, you have to listen to what others talk about. How else can you gain enough information to build on?

To listen is the single-most important skill in any relation.

We all have our own agenda, but if we are too busy talking, or waiting for the chance to talk, we loose the important skill to listen. Challenge your self to truly listen with empathy and interest. If you can accomplish this, you will soon experience how easy it is to build a trustful relation.

Listen to understand what people tell you, instead of preparing for your next line!

Different worlds

In our training programs we also talk a lot about “Different worlds” (your world, my world and the world).

We hereby invite you to enter the world of others and pay less attention to what goes on in your world. If you can accomplish this, you will:

  • Approve your listening skills
  • Collect more information
  • Reinforce your network
  • Achieve your goals

And what about our expectation: How much do we appreciate what others do for us? How good are we at communicating our expectations well enough, for others to be able to meet our expectations?
